Community Health Representative (CHR)

The Community Health Representative oversees the administration and delivery of health programs such as the Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program, Brighter Futures, National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program, Building Healthy Communities, Health Promotion and Injury/Illness Prevention, Environmental Health- Drinking Water Safety Program and also the Health Canada, Non-Insured Health Benefits- Medical Transportation, Drug Benefits, Eye and Vision Care, Dental, Crisis Counselling, and Medical Supplies and Equipment. 

Water Technician & Water System Operator

The Water Technician monitors Yale First Nation’s drinking water quality as per the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality. Water samples are tested on-site and sent to the Canadian Disease Control Laboratory for analysis.  

Emergency Preparedness

The Influenza Pandemic Plan part of the Emergency Preparedness Plan for the community is currently active.
