Emergency Management Update: FireSmart & Preparedness
The FireSmart program has been approved, and work will continue within the community on residential homes and community centres. The priority will begin with homes that were not completed during the last round of FireSmart. After remaining homes are addressed, the focus will move into maintenance for existing FireSmart work, including cleaning gutters, trimming branches, managing overgrown grass and weeds, and maintaining gravel perimeters around homes and community buildings.
