My name is Daryl Hansen, and I am the Emergency Coordinator for Yale First Nation.

I work to strengthen emergency preparedness and wildfire resilience throughout the community. This includes coordinating FireSmart work around homes and community buildings, maintaining previously completed areas, preparing emergency mitigation equipment, and organizing training on pumps and water tanks.

My goal is to help ensure our community has the knowledge, equipment, and support needed to respond safely during wildfire season and other emergencies. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out or come see me in person.
