
Water Maintenance
Talon Coghill
Talon Coghill is the certified Water Maintenance Operator for Yale First Nation, where he plays a vital role in ensuring access to safe and clean drinking water for the community. A long-time resident of YFN lands and a member of the maintenance team since 2023, Talon brings both practical knowledge and a deep commitment to community well-being.
In his current role, Talon oversees the Nation’s potable water systems, including daily chlorine level testing and weekly water sampling, in line with Canadian Drinking Water Guidelines. He works closely with partners such as Indigenous Services Canada’s Circuit Rider Program and environmental health officers to maintain and improve the Nation’s water infrastructure.
Talon’s work supports water access for community buildings, homes, and YFN’s greenhouse. He is passionate about ensuring transparency and safety in water operations and is committed to engaging with members through regular updates and public meetings.

Maintenance Lead
Brandon Kriegl
Brandon Kriegl is the Maintenance Lead and certified Secondary Water Operator for Yale First Nation. With extensive experience in infrastructure and general maintenance, Brandon plays a key role in supporting the upkeep of community buildings, housing, and public spaces.
He works closely with our Primary Water Operator, Talon, to ensure the safe delivery of potable water to homes and community facilities. His certification allows him to assist with water operations as needed, helping maintain service continuity and water safety.
Brandon is committed to supporting Yale First Nation through respectful collaboration, quality workmanship, and ongoing care for the Nation’s infrastructure.
